We believe the purpose of Christchurch Christian Centre can be communicated using four words: Proclaim, Heal, Transform and Build.

Jesus said, “I will build my church.” (Matthew 16:18)

We (born-again Christians) are the church whom Christ is building. He is also calling us to build His church with Him.

We are building a proclaiming church

We want to proclaim the good news of Jesus to all we know. Jesus came to die for us on the cross. He offers us the free gift of forgiveness of sin and eternal life. Why Jesus?

We are building a healing church

Many people in our congregation have experienced God’s healing touch upon their bodies and lives in different ways in the past few years. We are expectant of more healing to come. We are to be a church whose people not only receive healing, but are also used by Jesus in the healing of others.

We are building a transforming church

Transformation is a vital part of what it is to be a Christian. As soon as someone is saved, transformation takes place. The Holy Spirit comes to dwell in us at that moment of salvation (1 Corinthians 3:16), and He brings transformation. But the Holy Spirit can bring other times of transformation, when a person is baptised in the Spirit, when the Spirit comes upon an individual to equip them for a specific task or to release some gift through them. The Spirit can also bring transformation in a town or an area. The pouring out of the Spirit in revival power is something that we long to see.

We are a Building church

It is our desire to build up each other (spiritually), to build up our fellowship (relationally), and to build bridges to the community in which our church is based.
